My Story
When I purchased my first Scentsy warmer and 3 bars in 2013 from a friends Basket Party, I immediately fell in love with the product. My Scentsy Consultant had asked me to do a basket party for her, and I agreed in hopes of getting a few more free bars. My first party brought me 3 half priced items and well over one hundred dollars in free product! This was amazing to me!
I did two more equally successful Basket parties over the next few months and after each party, my consultant tried to convince me I would be a successful consultant myself. I didn't want to, as I had no confidence in myself and didn't think direct sales was for me.
In May of 2014, after her following up with me consistently for about two months, I joined with the thought this would give me my free and half priced items and I'd get a little money back from my personal orders in commission.
As soon as I signed up, my sponsor showed me all the ins and outs and got to chatting about scentsational start. I still wasn't much of a believer in direct sales, but I figured I spent the money I should probably try and see what happens.
I achieved the goals I set for myself, received my first commission pay and an award in the mail and that's where it really began.
I decided this was going to be my business, this was what was going to allow me to be a stay at home mom and raise my own children, allow me to contribute to my family's income and provide. I've made the best of friends through my journey and I am building my very own successful business.
I became a Scentsy Consultant in May of 2014, and in January of 2015 I had earned my very first incentive trip, an all expenses paid trip for one on a Caribbean Cruise. In 2015, I earned an all expenses paid leadership cruise to Cozumel, which unfortunately due to my health, I was unable to attend. In July of 2016, when they announced the next incentive would be in Punta Cana, I set my bar HIGH, and decided it was time to get serious, and take my supportive husband with me on this trip.
I CRUSHED my goals, and in January 2017, I earned an all expenses paid trip for TWO to Punta Cana.
Our family has been through a lot, climbed some pretty high mountains and fought through some of the most trying times, so this was the vacation my husband and I needed together to reset, rejuvenate and put our life into perspective. It did just that!
As the old saying goes, "I wish I had of met you sooner, so I could love you longer" and that's how I feel about this journey with Scentsy. I couldn't imagine doing anything differently. I have a team of wonderful ladies who I love and appreciate dearly.
I will reach the top one day, I've learned so much and met some very incredible people along the way. This is just my beginning!
My why is my family. This company is giving me my confidence, life long relationships and financial freedom. I want to be able to share my joy in my journey with others, and inspire them to reach for the achievable too! And of course, Heidi and Orville, the love they have for their family, their Scentsy family and each other radiates warmth. How could anyone not want to be a part of that ;)
I'm blessed to be on this journey, blessed to have the opportunity to share with people my love for this company and the products, and blessed to be a leader within the company to help others to be inspired too.
